Art Déco was born in Paris at the turn of the 20th century, favouring geometric forms, bold colours and stylised letterforms; those codes are revived here by a contemporary poster designer for sporting visuals. The poster is signed by Cédric des Lauriers. The simplified Eiffel Tower silhouette follows the long Parisian tradition of avoiding glowing detail in favour of the graphic sign.
